Crime Prevention Session

We invite residents of York Region to join us for a presentation hosted by the York Regional Police, Community Services Crime Prevention Unit with Ward 6 Councillor Amanda Yeung Collucci. Officers will share important information on home and personal safety, along with information on how to start a Neighbourhood watch group. We will be discussing: • What you can do to make your home safer • What Neighbourhood Watch is and how to start one in your community • Tips on personal safety, vehicle safety and distraction thefts • Mandarin translation will be available No RSVP is required and the event is open to everyone.

Polar Plunge

We are freezin' for a reason and you can join in the fun! On Thursday, March 9, members of York Regional Police will be taking the plunge and we want you to help us make a big splash in support of Special Olympics Ontario. This is open to members of the pubic and you can participate on your own or you can brrrring some friends. The event will take place at the York Regional Police Association building at 600 Stonehaven Avenue in Newmarket and registration opens at 5:30 p.m., with the plunge starting at 6:30 p.m. Register today at polarplunge.ca.
