Celebrating York Region’s rich Asian heritage

For decades, York Regional Police has benefited from a growing contingent of highly skilled, dedicated and professional Asian officers.

Are you prepared to join their ranks and serve your community?

Do you want to learn more about a career at one of the nation’s most professional and progressive police services?

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, members of the Uniform Recruiting Unit are hosting an interactive information session to help you kickstart your career at YRP.

At this session, you will:

• Join a panel discussion featuring guest speakers
• Hear important interview advice from members of the Uniform Recruiting Unit
• Participate in a guided tour of the YRP Training and Education Bureau
• Learn about the Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police (PREP) and have a chance to try the push/pull machine used in the test

Guest capacity is limited. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with no admittance past 6 p.m.
