In celebration of Pride Month

Each year, York Regional Police works hard to strengthen the relationship between members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and our police service.

We know that providing this community with the policing services it needs begins with having the right people for the job. We are committed to recruiting outstanding members and allies of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

In celebration of Pride Month, members of the Uniform Recruiting Unit are offering a unique opportunity to help kickstart your career at YRP.

At this session, you will:

• Join a panel discussion featuring guest speakers
• Hear important interview advice from members of the Uniform Recruiting Unit
• Participate in a guided tour of the YRP Training and Education Bureau
• Learn about the Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police (PREP) and have a chance to try the push/pull machine used in the test

Guest capacity is limited. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with no admittance past 6 p.m.
