Join us at the York Regional Police Association building on February 22, for the Black Mental Health Canada Inc. workshop.

There is no cost to participate.

Registration - 12:45 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Workshop - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served.

This is a workshop for community members who deal with persons in crisis. The workshop will focus on: 

• Historical and race-based trauma
• Structural racism and cultural competence
• Systemic barriers and mental health stigmas
• Social detriments of health
• Community collaborative interventions
• Mental health in the Black community
