Putting people first

Join recruiters and members serving across the organization for a recruitment event welcoming the next generation of women leaders to York Regional Police.

During the morning session, attendees will learn about open positions at YRP—and why they are the people to fill them.

In the afternoon, guests will gain invaluable networking opportunities at an expo featuring members of the police service’s many specialized units.

We’re not just looking to fill uniforms. We’re looking for People First.

What to expect:

Attendees will meet trailblazing women in policing and learn more about a career filled with excitement that knows no limits. The symposium will include:  

• Recruitment presentation
• Guest speaker panel featuring women with diverse policing backgrounds and experience
• Exhibit booths highlighting career opportunities and specialized units and work areas at York Regional Police
• Information on interviews, applications, the recruitment process and testing
• Social and networking opportunities

Light refreshments will be served. No entry permitted past 9:30 a.m. Attendees must register in advance.
