Every community needs its heroes.

Help us launch the Holiday Heroes Food and Toy Drive to new heights at this kick-off event at Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket!  

Fun for the whole family

Come to the launch event for:

• Kick off of this year's Holiday Heroes Campaign
• Speakers from York Regional Police and The Salvation Army
• Enjoy light refreshments
• Free children’s activities and police swag
• Live children's choir from Donais Studio, Newmarket
• Meet your local heroes and see how you can make a difference
• Donations of new toys, non-perishable food and gift cards are welcome!

About Holiday Heroes

For 29 years, the Holiday Heroes campaign has made a lasting and positive impact on our community, helping families in need or those who have fallen victim to crime or tragic circumstances. When you donate to this campaign, you are directly impacting people's lives right here in York Region.

Bring your donations to the party

We will be located outside H & M near the food court for the kick off. Donations accepted: Monetary donations, gift cards, food and new, unwrapped toys, new children’s clothing and hygiene essentials. Monetary and gift card donations help families long after the holiday season has ended, and allows our partners to support community members in need year-round.
