Community Events
York Regional Police (YRP) is looking for the next generation of police constables. Keeping our communities safe takes a diverse team with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, skills and perspectives, all working toward a common goal.
Join us for a high-energy beginner metabolic conditioning (MetCon) workout, followed by an open conversation about careers in policing with Constable Emma Gomes.
The session offers an opportunity to speak one-on-one with members of the Outreach Recruiting team, ask questions, and connect with others interested in a career in policing.
The workout starts at 10 a.m. and will run for 30 to 45 minutes. Participants are then invited to stay for a one-hour social, where they can hear officers’ experiences in policing, get tips on the application process, and learn more about opportunities with YRP.
Participants are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. to complete and sign a required waiver form before the session begins.
Please bring indoor shoes, a water bottle and all the energy!
