What to expect

This is your time to meet members of the Uniform and Civilian Recruiting Units and learn how to kickstart your dream career as a member of York Regional Police. Attendees can expect:

• Recruitment presentation about the application and hiring processes
• Tips on avoiding common application mistakes and how to become a competitive applicant
• Tour our brand new, state-of-the-art training facility
• Participate in conversation with African-Caribbean Canadian officers and civilians about their personal experiences at YRP
• Refreshments are provided

Registration details:

Participants must be at least 18 years of age to register.  

Please read and complete the attached form consenting to photo, video and audio recording and bring it with you for collection on the day of the event. Please indicate your consent when prompted. If you do not consent to photo, video and audio recording, indicate "No" when prompted.
