Event Details:

Join recruiters and members serving across the organization for a recruitment event welcoming the next generation of women leaders to York Regional Police.

Attendees will learn about open positions at YRP—and why they are the people to fill them.

Guests will take part in interactive training workshops, learn about specialized roles at our service from our Emergency Response, Canine and Air Support Units and hear from a panel of women officers.

We’re not just looking to fill uniforms. We’re looking for People First.

What to expect:

Attendees will meet trailblazing women in policing and learn more about a career filled with excitement that knows no limits. The symposium will include:  

• Recruitment presentation
• Women in policing panel
• Demonstrations from YRP’s specialized units
• Information on interviews, applications and testing
• Social and networking opportunities

Light refreshments will be served. No entry permitted past 9:30 a.m. Attendees must register in advance.
