York Regional Police is excited to be hosting Grade 9 students on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 for Take Your Kids to Work Day. 

Only children of YRP members are eligible to participate, and registration will be capped at 100 students.  

Students will have the opportunity to learn about various units, including:

• Practical Skills & Recruiting - Training Branch
• Canine Unit
• Emergency Response Unit
• Forensic Identification Unit 
• Public Safety and/or Road Safety Unit

Lunch will be provided and students will also be travelling on a bus between locations.

*Please ensure you sign the attached waiver and have your student bring it with them on the day of the event. Students will not be able to participate without a signed waiver. 

Please ensure your child arrives between 8 and 8:15 a.m. to sign in.
